DOH Site Nurse

Patient Care & Medical Support

• Provide first aid treatment and nursing care for employees in case of accidents, injuries, or sudden illnesses at the site.
• Assess, record, and monitor vital signs, administer prescribed medications, and maintain ongoing care.
• Assist in medical emergencies and coordinate with ambulance/doctor/hospital when higher-level care is required.
• Ensure proper wound dressing, IV cannulation, and basic life support (BLS) as per DOH standards.

2. Occupational Health & Safety

• Conduct regular health checks and monitor workers exposed to hazardous conditions.
• Maintain a clean, well-equipped, and DOH-compliant site clinic.
• Support health and safety teams in promoting safe work practices.
• Participate in risk assessments, health awareness campaigns, and preventive health programs.

3. Medical Records & Compliance

• Maintain accurate, confidential medical and incident records as per DOH and company policies.
• Prepare and submit health and safety/incident reports to management and authorities when required.
• Ensure compliance with DOH licensing requirements and occupational health regulations.
• Keep an updated inventory of medical supplies and request replenishments on time.

4. Coordination & Communication

• Liaise with external hospitals, clinics, and emergency services when referrals or transfers are required.
• Provide health education to workers (e.g., hygiene, first aid, ergonomics, heat stress awareness).
