Simms Showers LLP Domestic & Associate Attorney Position- Simms Showers LLP, a growing Northern Virginia and Maryland-based law firm, is seeking an Associate Attorney for our Domestic and Family Law practice area.

- Manage all aspects of domestic and family law cases, including client consultations, pleadings, discovery, negotiations, and litigation.
- Represent clients in court hearings, mediations, and settlement conferences.
- Draft motions, petitions, agreements, and other legal documents with precision and attention to detail.
- Communicate effectively and compassionately with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior associates and support staff.
- Contribute to firm growth through client relationship management and participation in community or professional outreach.
- Maintain compliance with ethical standards and firm policies.

Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience as a family law Attorney.
- VA Bar License
- Legal writing, analysis, and drafting skills
- Ability and willingness to travel to different courts in Northern Virginia
Preferred Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience as a family law Attorney.
- Jury trial and court experience
- Prior judicial clerkship experience
