Domestic & Contract Floor Fitter

Lees Heginbotham & Sons Ltd is a respected, family‑run flooring contractor with over 75 years of continuous service. We are seeking an experienced and reliable Contract Floor Layer to join our team. This role requires a tradesperson who delivers consistent, high‑quality workmanship and maintains a professional approach on every project.

Important Requirement

- Must be able to commute to our Oldham base daily for job allocation, material collection and vehicle loading.

Key Responsibilities

- Install flat lay vinyl, cap and cove vinyl, and LVT to a high professional standard

- Carry out subfloor preparation, including screeding and DPM application

- Install carpet tiles and sheet carpet when required

- Work independently on commercial and domestic sites

- Maintain excellent timekeeping, reliability and site conduct

Requirements

- Minimum 3 years’ experience in professional flooring installation

- Strong competency in vinyl, LVT and carpet installation

- Valid CSCS Card

- Full UK Driving Licence

- Own van and full set of tools, including:

• Welding equipment
• 110v transformer
• Mixing equipment
• Standard hand tools
