Overview
We are seeking a skilled Domestic Gas Engineer to join our team, providing essential maintenance and installation services for residential properties. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background, practical skills, and a commitment to safety and quality. This role offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of domestic gas systems. Duties
- Install, service, and repair domestic gas appliances in accordance with current regulations and safety standards
- Conduct safety checks and diagnostic assessments on gas systems
- Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure optimal functioning of appliances
- Use a variety of hand tools, power tools, and specialised equipment to complete installations and repairs
- Carry out plumbing and carpentry work related to gas appliance installation or servicing
- Engage in heavy lifting when handling equipment or materials safely and efficiently
- Maintain detailed records of work performed and report any issues or safety concerns promptly
- Adhere to health and safety protocols at all times during on-site work
- Assist with the assembly of new appliances or systems as required
Skills
- Proven experience with welding, plumbing, carpentry, and assembly tasks
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and specialised mechanical equipment
- Strong mechanical knowledge relevant to domestic gas systems and appliances
- Basic mathematical skills for measurements, calculations, and troubleshooting
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and effectively
- Valid commercial driving licence is desirable for transportation between sites
- Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail
- Good communication skills to liaise with clients and team members effectively

Pay: £30,000.00-£50,000.00 per year
