Domestic Logistics - Category Specialist / Lead

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Taking an active role in ongoing tenders within the scope of logistics procurement activities,
  • Ensuring processes are carried out in line with defined procedures, contributing to improvement and development initiatives to enhance efficiency,
  • Conducting feasibility studies and developing projects for collective or individual procurement to create cost advantages for clients,
  • Managing client relationships and carrying out activities to ensure customer satisfaction,
  • Managing supplier relationships, including supplier selection and performance evaluation,
  • Monitoring procurement processes (quotation, tender, contract, order, onboarding new suppliers),
  • Managing procurement negotiations,
  • Preparing reports within the scope of departmental responsibilities,
  • Taking part in company-wide and departmental projects,
  • Monitoring market trends, customer and supplier dynamics related to the responsible sector(s), and developing efficiency-driven initiatives,
  • Preparing and presenting requested reports related to the responsible sector(s).


QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Engineering,
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in logistics,
  • Ability to manage daily and short/long-term procurement activities,
  • Knowledge of the logistics sector,
  • Good command of written and spoken English,
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications,
  • Experience with SAP programs,
  • High sense of responsibility,
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills,
  • Well-developed customer and supplier management skills.
