
Domestic Logistics - Category Specialist / Lead
JOB DESCRIPTION

Taking an active role in ongoing tenders within the scope of logistics procurement activities,
-
Ensuring processes are carried out in line with defined procedures, contributing to improvement and development initiatives to enhance efficiency,
-
Conducting feasibility studies and developing projects for collective or individual procurement to create cost advantages for clients,
-
Managing client relationships and carrying out activities to ensure customer satisfaction,
-
Managing supplier relationships, including supplier selection and performance evaluation,
-
Monitoring procurement processes (quotation, tender, contract, order, onboarding new suppliers),
-
Managing procurement negotiations,
-
Preparing reports within the scope of departmental responsibilities,
-
Taking part in company-wide and departmental projects,
-
Monitoring market trends, customer and supplier dynamics related to the responsible sector(s), and developing efficiency-driven initiatives,
-
Preparing and presenting requested reports related to the responsible sector(s).
QUALIFICATIONS
-
Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Engineering,
-
Minimum 3 years of experience in logistics,
-
Ability to manage daily and short/long-term procurement activities,
-
Knowledge of the logistics sector,
-
Good command of written and spoken English,
-
Proficiency in MS Office applications,
-
Experience with SAP programs,
-
High sense of responsibility,
-
Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills,
-
Well-developed customer and supplier management skills.
