Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Domestic New Build Electrician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in newly constructed residential properties. Sites across - Stirling, West Lothian, Fife, Glasgow, Ayrshire.
Duties
- Install electrical wiring, outlets, switches, and lighting fixtures in new build homes according to technical specifications and safety standards.
- Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting of electrical systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with construction teams and project managers to ensure timely completion of electrical installations.
- Test electrical systems for safety, functionality, and compliance with relevant legislation.
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining work performed and addressing any client queries professionally.
- Maintain accurate documentation of work completed and report any issues or delays promptly.
- Ensure all work areas are kept clean, organised, and safe throughout the project duration.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an electrician specialising in domestic new build projects.
- Valid driving licence with the ability to travel between sites as needed.
- Strong knowledge of electrical codes, safety standards, and regulations applicable to residential construction.
- Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with clients, colleagues, and suppliers.
- Ability to perform maintenance tasks and troubleshoot electrical issues efficiently.
- Customer service orientation with a professional attitude at all times.
