Cedar Creek is searching for a DON/Clinical Quality Assurance Nurse for our two 8-bed ICF homes. This is a salaried position at 40 hours per week.

DON/Clinical Quality Assurance Nurse Job Description

The DON/Clinical Quality Assurance Nurse will optimize quality of care across all health departments by undertaking efforts to review clinical competency, ensure regulatory adherence, prevent adverse events, and promote infection prevention. Daily you will help to teach your co-workers and residents the skills needed for optimal level of independence in health matters and in LIFE!

Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Assessing and monitoring health status, completion of assessments
• Coordination of and assistance with medical appointments and follow-up, lab orders, change over and ordering of medications
• Communications with physicians, lab, pharmacy, families, day program, etc.
• Participating in the monthly changeover of medications and treatments and monthly charting documents
• The administration and documentation of prescribed medications and treatment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $62,400.00 per year

Experience:

• Nursing: 1 year (Required)
