Overview

Are you motivated, dependable, and love working with your hands? Knock Knock Doors and Trim is looking for an energetic Shop Assistant to join our growing team!

NO PRIOR EXPERIENCE IS NEEDED. If you have a great attitude and a willingness to learn, we will teach you the rest. Key Responsibilities

As a crucial part of our shop team, you will learn to handle a variety of daily tasks, including:

• Assembly & Production: Help build high-end exterior and interior doors, meeting daily production goals safely and efficiently.
• Tool Operation: Use hand tools and power tools to install hardware and assemble quality products.
• Material Handling: Load, unload, sort, and stock materials. You will also learn to safely operate a forklift around the shop.
• Shop Maintenance: Keep the workspace organized, clean, and safe for the team.
• Logistics: Assist with tracking inventory movements, maintaining accurate production records, and driving a flatbed or trailer for deliveries when needed.

What We Look For (Qualifications)

While experience is a plus, we are happy to train the right person. You will be a great fit if you have:

• A strong work ethic and a proactive approach to learning new skills.
• The physical stamina to stand for extended periods and regularly lift heavy objects (such as doors and trim).
• A strong commitment to safety in a manufacturing/shop environment.
• Excellent communication skills and a team-first attitude.
• A valid driver’s license (experience driving a trailer or flatbed is a major plus!).

Any previous experience in warehouse work, manufacturing, assembly lines, or forklift operation (certification preferred) is highly valued but not required.
