DOT Analyst

Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Analyst to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in enhancing our supply chain operations through data analysis, process improvement, and strategic planning. This position requires a strong understanding of supply chain management and logistics, with proficiency in various analytical tools and methodologies.

Duties

• Conduct data mining and analysis to identify trends and insights that drive decision-making within the supply chain.
• Utilize SQL and data visualization tools such as Tableau to present findings effectively to stakeholders.
• Perform root cause analysis to address operational challenges and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize transportation management processes, including transportation planning and freight logistics.
• Analyze data related to demand planning, warehouse management systems, and ERP systems such as SAP ERP and Oracle Transportation Management.
• Support business analysis efforts by collecting relevant data and conducting research to inform strategic initiatives.
• Engage in process improvement projects aimed at enhancing supply chain analytics and overall operational efficiency.
• Work closely with third-party logistics (3PL) providers to ensure seamless integration of services within the supply chain framework.

Requirements

• Proven experience in supply chain management, logistics, or a related field.
• Strong proficiency in data analytics, including data collection, mining, and visualization techniques.
• Familiarity with transportation management systems and warehouse management systems is preferred.
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP ERP or AS400 is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on continuous improvement methodologies like Lean.
• Strong research abilities combined with effective business analysis skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also being self-motivated.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
