Position Summary:

We are seeking motivated college interns to serve as DOT Safety Auditor Interns for a temporary assignment. This role provides hands-on experience in transportation, safety compliance and auditing while working alongside experienced professionals in the field.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with Department of Transportation (DOT) safety audits and compliance reviews
• Observe and document safety procedures and operational practices
• Support audit teams with data collection, checklists, and reporting
• Communicate findings clearly and professionally under supervision
• Travel to assigned locations as required

Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university (preferred fields include Safety Management, Transportation, Logistics, Criminal Justice, or related majors)
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Professional communication skills
• Willingness and ability to travel
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and follow compliance standards
• Be able to pass a preemployment background screening
• Be able to pass a preemployment drug test
