REPORTS TO: Sales Manager – DQ Rapid Prototyping North America
EFFECTIVE DATE: 3/10/2026
LPKF North America is seeking a Sales Associate to proactively develop, manage, and close new business opportunities while expanding our presence in the North American PCB development industry. This role will focus on OEM companies, universities, and research organizations, promoting high-value capital equipment and building strong customer relationships from initial engagement through deal closure. The position reports to the Prototyping Systems Sales Manager – North America and offers a competitive salary and commission structure.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Identifies, qualifies, and generates new business; develops and delivers sales presentations to prospective customers.

Coordinate with sales and marketing to develop and share new marketing content online.

Distribute and implement objectives and strategies to aggressively acquire new accounts through industry research, cold outreach, lead qualification and development.

Seek out, create, and proactively advance opportunities to expand and close additional business with new and existing clients.

Attend conventions, conferences, customer visits and trade shows as needed; prepare post-event reports and analysis.

Gather market intelligence to identify potential new applications, and key decision makers at targeted key accounts.

Follow competitive developments and provide feedback to the company.

Stay updated on industry trends and market developments.

Provide pricing and technical details to prospects in engineering and management.

Domestic and international travel, estimated at up to 15% of time, for customer visits, conferences, trade shows, and/or factory training.

Communicate regularly with Executive officers on sales prospects/status for the various product lines they represent.

Add, maintain and update records of above communication in the company’s Contact Relationship Management software (CRM).

Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent work experience
-
Technical competency and/or experience selling highly engineered, technical products

Professional customer interaction and communication abilities.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Excellent computer and organizational skills.

Ability to legally travel, and rent/operate motor vehicles.
