Drafter

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Draughtsman with proven expertise in AutoCAD Civil 3D software, specifically in the creation and manipulation of road profiles , and other essential infrastructure elements. The successful candidate will be instrumental in preparing precise and comprehensive technical drawings, plans, and 3D models for various civil road and infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and generate precise 2D and 3D civil engineering drawings and models using AutoCAD Civil 3D for complex road and infrastructure projects.
• Create and manage road horizontal and vertical alignments, profiles, superelevation diagrams, and cross-sections with high accuracy.
• Prepare comprehensive grading plans, earthwork volumes, and surface models directly from Civil 3D data.
• Detail utility networks (potable water, chilled water, power, telecommunications) plans, profiles, and trenching details.
• Ensure all drawings reflect the latest design changes and adhere to project-specific requirements and local authority standards.

Requirements:

• Expert-level proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D for complex road design, including advanced use of alignments, profiles, corridors, surfaces, grading, and pipe networks.
• Minimum 5+ years of progressive experience as a Draughtsman, with a significant portion specifically focused on civil road and infrastructure projects within a contracting environment.
• In-depth understanding of civil engineering principles, road design standards, and construction methodologies for infrastructure projects.
