Drafter/Designer

Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented, skilled, quick and efficient Drafter to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating precise technical drawings and plans that support various interior design projects. This role requires proficiency in drafting software and a strong understanding of design principles to effectively communicate ideas and specifications.

Duties

• Develop detailed drawings and schematics using CAD software, ensuring accuracy and adherence to project specifications.
• Utilize software such as Revit, NavisWorks, Sketchup, Civil 3D, SolidWorks, and others to create 2D and 3D models.
• Review and revise designs based on feedback from team members or clients, ensuring all modifications are documented appropriately.
• Prepare presentation materials that effectively communicate design concepts to stakeholders.
• Maintain organized records of all drafts, revisions, and related documentation for future reference.

Experience

• Proficiency in drafting software including CAD, Revit, Civil 3D, and Sketchup is essential.
• Strong understanding of building codes, regulations, and industry standards related to drafting.
• Excellent attention to detail with the ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team environment.
• Effective communication skills to articulate design concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
