Draftsman

Job Responsibilities: Construction Draftsman

• Create Technical Drawings: Prepare detailed construction drawings, blueprints, and plans for building structures, including layouts, elevations, sections, and details using AutoCAD, Revit, or other drafting software.
• Site Measurements: Conduct site visits to take measurements and gather required data to ensure drawings are accurate and match actual site conditions.
• Collaborate with Architects and Engineers: Work closely with architects, engineers, and project managers to understand project requirements and incorporate design changes as necessary.
• Prepare Authority Submission Drawings: Ensure all required drawings are submitted to local authorities for approvals, ensuring compliance with building codes, zoning laws, and other regulations.
• Revise and Update Drawings: Modify existing drawings based on feedback from project stakeholders, ensuring that any changes are implemented accurately and in a timely manner.
• Ensure Quality and Accuracy: Review all technical drawings for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company standards and local regulations before submission to clients or authorities.
• Documentation and Filing: Maintain and organize all construction drawings and related documents, ensuring easy access for team members and stakeholders.
• Assist in Project Coordination: Provide technical support and clarification to construction teams, contractors, and suppliers by explaining drawing details and specifications.
• Support Project Timelines: Ensure that drawings are completed on schedule to avoid project delays, maintaining an efficient workflow throughout the construction process.
• Bill of Quantities (BOQ): Assist in generating Bills of Quantities (BOQ) based on detailed drawings for accurate material estimates and procurement.
• Continuous Learning: Stay updated with new construction techniques, drafting tools, and industry standards to improve efficiency and quality of work.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Proven experience as a Draftsman (Construction / Civil / MEP).
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and other drafting software.
• Strong understanding of construction drawings, technical details, and industry standards.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
• Diploma or certification in Drafting, Civil Engineering, or a related field.

Preferred:

• Experience in UAE construction industry (advantage)
• Immediate joiners

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: AED2,500.00 - AED5,000.00 per month
