Draftsman

Job Description:

Full-time architectural draftsman

Role:

· Using computer-aided design and drafting (CADD) software.

· Prepare detailed architectural, interior , structure and MEP drawings for

residential and commercial construction projects.

· Create drawings based on building specifications.

· Coordinate with and consult other workers to design, layout, or detail components

and systems and to resolve design or other problems.

· Draw rough and detailed drawings, based on preliminary concepts, sketches,

specification sheets, and other data.

· Obtain and assemble data to complete architectural designs, visiting job sites to compile measurements as necessary.

· Develop detailed design drawings and specifications using computer-assisted

drafting equipment.

· Work with architect to ensure that construction project is in accordance with

design specifications.

· Work from rough sketches and specifications created by engineers and architects

and interior designer

· Help design products with engineering and manufacturing techniques

· Add details to architectural plans from their knowledge of building techniques

· Specify dimensions, materials, and procedures for new products

· Work under the supervision of engineers or architects

Minimum Qualifications:

- Candidates must have at least Bachelor's / College Degree in engineering or relevant

courses.

- Minimum of 2-5 years working experience is required for this position.

- Knowledgeable in AutoCAD, SketchUp and 3D rendering , interior design details,

MEP drawings, Architectural\ Structural Design

- Flexible and result-oriented
