Draftsman

A Draftsman creates detailed technical drawings, blueprints, and 3D models using CAD software based on specifications from engineers or architects. They calculate dimensions, material needs, and ensure designs comply with regulations for construction or manufacturing projects. They are essential for translating concepts into actionable plans. Core Responsibilities

• Drafting & Design: Prepare detailed 2D and 3D drawings for construction, manufacturing, or engineering projects using CAD software.
• Technical Collaboration: Work closely with engineers, architects, and designers to turn conceptual sketches into technical documents.
• Compliance & Accuracy: Ensure all drawings meet industry standards, safety regulations, and project specifications.
• Calculations: Perform calculations regarding material requirements, weight limitations, and structural dimensions.
• Revisions: Modify designs based on feedback and revisions provided by engineering teams.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Software Proficiency: Strong proficiency in CAD software (e.g., Solidworks, AutoCAD, Fusion 360, TinkerCAD).
• Technical Knowledge: Understanding of engineering principles, manufacturing processes, and architectural design.
• Attention to Detail: High precision in technical drawing and error identification.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for collaboration.
• Education: A Bachelor's degree in engineering, architecture, or a related field, or an associate degree/certification in drafting.

Common Qualifications

• Proven work experience as a draftsman or in a similar technical role.
• Certification from professional organizations (e.g., ADDA) is often preferred.
• Strong spatial reasoning and mathematical skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: AED2,000.00 - AED2,500.00 per month
