Draftsman

We are seeking a detail-oriented MEP Draftsman with experience in interior fit-out projects to prepare accurate and coordinated technical drawings for Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing systems. The role involves close coordination with design, project, and site teams to ensure all MEP drawings align with project specifications, authority requirements, and execution standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed MEP shop drawings, as-built drawings, and coordination drawings for interior fit-out projects.
• Develop HVAC, electrical, and plumbing layouts based on design concepts, specifications, and project requirements.
• Coordinate MEP drawings with architectural, structural, and interior design drawings to avoid clashes.
• Review design drawings and identify discrepancies, proposing solutions where necessary.
• Ensure drawings comply with local authority regulations and standards.
• Update drawings based on site conditions, consultant comments, and client feedback.
• Assist project teams during execution by providing technical drawing support.
• Maintain organized records of all drawings, revisions, and approvals.
• Work closely with engineers and project managers to meet deadlines and project milestones.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or relevant field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in MEP drafting, preferably in interior fit-out projects.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD (mandatory); knowledge of Revit/BIM is an advantage.
• Strong understanding of MEP systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire protection).
• Experience in coordination drawings and clash detection.
• Familiarity with local authority standards and submission procedures.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines under pressure.

Pay: AED8,500.00 - AED9,000.00 per month
