Draftsman

This position for a Landscape Draftsman outlines the key responsibilities and qualifications needed for the role. The ideal candidate will have 3 to 4 year experience in UAE as a drafting detailed site plans and technical drawings for various landscaping projects, while collaborating closely with landscape architects, designers, and clients to ensure accuracy and precision in the designs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare Detailed Drawings: Create landscape design drawings, layouts, and technical plans for various projects (residential, commercial, and public spaces).
• Collaborative Work: Partner with landscape architects, project managers, and clients to understand the design vision and requirements.
• Technical Proficiency: Utilize AutoCAD and other design software to produce technical documents and drawings.
• Revisions and Updates: Modify and update designs based on feedback from clients and design teams.
• Project Support: Offer assistance during the project’s construction phase to ensure the design is implemented accurately.
• Coordination: Work with engineers, contractors, and other professionals to ensure designs are feasible and meet construction standards.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Proven experience as a Landscape Draftsman or in a similar role.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD and other design software.
• Design Knowledge: Understanding of landscape design principles, horticulture, and construction techniques.
• Technical Drawing: Ability to interpret and create technical drawings.
• Attention to Detail: Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Communication Skills: Excellent ability to communicate and collaborate with teams.
