Draftsman

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Draftsman to prepare BOQ, Quotations, technical drawings and plans based on design specifications and engineering calculations. The ideal candidate will have experience using CAD software and a solid understanding of construction and design standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed architectural and engineering drawings using AutoCAD or other CAD software.
• Convert rough sketches and specifications into technical drawings.
• Review drawings for accuracy and compliance with project standards and regulations.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, and project managers to understand project requirements.
• Modify and update drawings based on client or engineering approval feedback.
• Maintain a well-organized archive of drawing files and revisions.
• Ensure drawings are completed on time and align with project schedules.
• Assist in site visits when required to gather data or verify design accuracy.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Drafting, Architecture, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proficient in AutoCAD; knowledge of Revit, SketchUp, or other design tools is a plus.
• Strong understanding of construction and architectural standards.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Minimum 0-2 years of experience in a similar role.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in MEP, civil, or architectural drafting.
• Basic knowledge of 3D modeling or rendering software is an advantage.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED2,500.00 - AED3,500.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Dubai: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
