Position Overview

The Architectural / Structural Draftsman will be responsible for preparing detailed drawings, plans, and technical documents to support architectural and structural design projects. The ideal candidate is highly detail-oriented, efficient, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Produce accurate architectural and structural drawings, plans, and models using CAD/BIM software.
• Assist in developing construction documents, shop drawings, and as-built drawings.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, and project managers to ensure design accuracy.
• Make revisions based on feedback and project requirements.
• Ensure all drawings comply with relevant codes, standards, and project specifications.
• Maintain organized documentation and file management.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in architectural or structural drafting.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar drafting software.
• Strong understanding of construction methods, building systems, and structural fundamentals.
• Ability to interpret architectural/engineering sketches and convert them into detailed technical drawings.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and within a collaborative team environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with BIM workflows.
• Familiarity with local building codes and regulations.
• Background in residential, commercial, or industrial projects (specify as needed).

Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Contract length: 24 months

Pay: AED1,800.00 - AED3,000.00 per month
