Draftsman - Carpentry

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Carpentry Draftsman with UAE experience to support joinery and fit-out works. The candidate will be responsible for preparing detailed shop drawings for carpentry and interior fit-out projects in coordination with project and site teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed carpentry and joinery shop drawings (doors, wardrobes, kitchens, furniture, wall panels, etc.)
• Interpret architectural and interior design drawings accurately
• Coordinate drawings with site engineers, project managers, and production teams
• Revise drawings based on site conditions, client, and consultant feedback
• Prepare as-built drawings upon project completion
• Ensure drawings comply with project specifications and standards

Requirements

• Diploma or certification in Drafting / Interior / Carpentry or related field
• 3-5 years of UAE experience as a Carpentry Draftsman
• Proficiency in AutoCAD (knowledge of SketchUp / 3D is an advantage)
• Strong understanding of joinery materials, finishes, and detailing
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Salary & Benefits

• Salary: AED 4,000 - 6,000 (based on experience)
• Benefits as per UAE Labour Law
