Draftsman - Fabrication

The Draughtsman is responsible for preparing detailed drawings of architectural designs and plans for buildings and structures according to specifications provided by architects and engineers. This role involves using computer-aided design (CAD) software to create, modify, and optimize detailed drawings for construction projects.

Produce detailed drawings and blueprints for metal structure based on specifications and requirements. Produce Fabrication Drawings, cutting list, material take offs

Ensure accuracy and completeness of all drawings, adhering to industry standards and regulations.

Work closely with engineers, project managers, and other stakeholders to gather necessary information and understand project requirements.

Coordinate with the project team to incorporate design changes and updates.

§ Identify and resolve any discrepancies or issues in the drawings.

Stay informed about industry standards, regulations, and best practices in drafting and design.

Diploma or certification in Drafting, Engineering, or a related field.

§ Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit).

§ Basic knowledge of scaffolding materials and construction methods.

Understanding of industry standards and regulations related to scaffolding design.
