Proven experience with CAD software, including AutoCAD, Revit, and Chief Architect

Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented CAD Draftsman with experience in luxury residential design to lead the development of detailed, construction-ready drawing sets. This role is essential in translating design vision into precise technical documentation that ensures seamless execution in the field.

The ideal candidate brings a deep understanding of high-end construction, custom detailing, and the ability to think critically about how design is built.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed 2D drawings and 3D models using CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, Chief, and SketchUp to support architectural, mechanical, or system design projects.
• Create accurate schematics, system layouts, interior designs, and mechanical components that meet project specifications and industry standards.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and designers to interpret concepts and translate them into precise technical drafts.
• Review and redline drawings for accuracy, completeness, and constructability.
• Utilize visualization tools like SketchUp and 3ds Max to produce compelling presentations and realistic renderings for client reviews.
• Prepare detailed documentation for construction or manufacturing processes while maintaining consistency across all project files.
• Prepare reflective ceiling plans, lighting layouts, and electrical coordination drawings.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience.
• Strong understanding of drafting standards and technical drawing conventions across disciplines such as architecture, mechanical design, or system engineering.
• Familiarity with construction processes and the ability to produce detailed schematics and system layouts.
• Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD and/or Chief Architect required
• Ability to interpret complex concepts into clear visual representations through 2D drawings or 3D modeling.
• Excellent attention to detail combined with strong communication skills for effective collaboration within multidisciplinary teams.
• A degree or certification in Drafting Technology, Architecture, Mechanical Engineering, or related fields is a must.

Pay: $26.00 - $32.00 per hour
