POSITION : Draftsman (Joinery)

As a Joinery Draftsman, you will be responsible for producing accurate technical drawings and shop drawings for joinery and fit-out works. You will work closely with the design, production, and project teams to ensure all details are clear, feasible, and aligned with project specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed shop drawings, joinery drawings, and manufacturing details for retail and F&B fit-out projects.
• Translate design concepts and site measurements into precise technical drawings.
• Coordinate with designers, project managers, and site teams to ensure drawing accuracy.
• Review designs to ensure compliance with materials, standards, and feasibility.
• Update drawings based on feedback, revisions, and site changes.
• Ensure deadlines are met while maintaining high quality and attention to detail.
• Maintain drawing libraries, documentation, and version control.

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or related field.
• Minimum 2+ years of experience in joinery drafting within the interior fit-out or woodworking industry.
• Strong knowledge of retail and F&B fit-out standards.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD (required); knowledge of SketchUp, Revit, or other drafting software is a plus.
• Understanding of joinery materials, hardware, production methods, and installation processes.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings, MEP drawings, and site surveys.
• Excellent attention to detail, technical accuracy, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple deadlines.
