The
Joinery & Fit-Out Draftsman
is responsible for preparing detailed shop drawings and technical documentation for bespoke joinery and interior fit-out works. The role ensures accurate translation of design concepts into manufacturable drawings while maintaining quality, precision, and compliance with client requirements and project specifications.
Key Responsibilities:

Prepare joinery production/shop drawings for retail fit out project, cabinets, wardrobes, doors, kitchens, counters, paneling, furniture, and fit-out components.

Create detailed sections, elevations, plans, and 3D details as required.

Develop fabrication drawings for factory and installation teams with complete detailing.

Identify materials, finishes, hardware, and accessories within drawings with proper schedules.

Coordinate with the production team to ensure drawings are practical and aligned with manufacturing limitations.

Work closely with procurement to provide complete technical support for material submittals and supplier inquiries.

Conduct site measurements to prepare accurate as-built drawings and verify fitment.

Support project teams with drawing-related clarifications during execution.

Ensure drawings comply with project specifications, industry standards, and joinery best practices.

Prepare detailed cutting lists, CNC files (if required), and hardware schedules.

Provide support during technical submissions, mock-ups, and approvals.
Qualifications & Experience:

Diploma/Degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Interior Design, or related technical field.

5–8 years minimum
drafting experience in joinery and interior fit-out (UAE/GCC preferred).

Experience with high-end bespoke joinery projects is highly desirable.
