Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Drafter/Quantity Surveyor to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating detailed 2D and 3D drawings using CAD software and preparing accurate Bills of Quantities (BOQs) for our construction projects. This role requires a combination of technical drafting skills and a strong understanding of construction materials and costs.

Key Responsibilities:

Drafting and Design:

• Create detailed 2D and 3D drawings using CAD software based on architectural and engineering designs.
• Ensure drawings are accurate, detailed, and compliant with industry standards and project specifications.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other team members to ensure design accuracy and feasibility.

Bill of Quantities (BOQ) Preparation:

• Analyze construction drawings and specifications to determine the quantities of materials, labor, and equipment required
• Prepare comprehensive and accurate BOQs, ensuring all project elements are accounted for.
• Work closely with quantity surveyors and estimators to ensure BOQs are aligned with project budgets and timelines.

Project Coordination:

• Assist in the coordination of project documentation and technical specifications.
• Participate in project meetings and provide input on drafting and quantity-related matters.
• Ensure timely delivery of drafting and BOQ tasks to support project progress.

Qualifications:

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
• Relevant certification in CAD drafting and quantity surveying is a plus.

Experience:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in drafting and quantity surveying within the construction industry.
• Proven track record of creating accurate 2D and 3D drawings and preparing BOQs.

Skills:

• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Knowledge of construction materials, methods, and industry standards.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Note: A full-time contract will only be given after a (3) month probation period.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED4,500.00 per month
