Draftsperson (Construction Site)

We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Senior Draftsperson to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will bring 10–12 years of hands-on experience in construction drafting, with strong technical expertise and the ability to manage complex drawings and site coordination.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare, review, and finalize detailed architectural and structural drawings for construction projects
• Lead the drafting function, ensuring accuracy, quality, and compliance with project specifications
• Coordinate closely with engineers, architects, consultants, and site teams to resolve design and execution issues
• Manage drawing revisions, as-built drawings, and documentation control
• Interpret BOQs, layouts, and technical specifications for execution at site
• Identify design inconsistencies and propose practical solutions
• Ensure adherence to local building codes, standards, and regulations
• Support project planning by providing accurate and timely drawings

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering / Drafting or related field
• 10–12 years of relevant experience in construction drafting (site-based experience preferred)
• Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD (mandatory); knowledge of other design software is a plus
• Strong understanding of architectural, structural, and basic MEP drawings
• Proven ability to handle large-scale or multiple projects
• Excellent coordination, problem-solving, and communication skills
• High attention to detail and ability to meet strict deadlines
