What You’ll Do as a Drain Technician

As a Drain Technician, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring the success of our residential plumbing projects. Reporting to the Lead Plumber or Operations Manager, you’ll specialize in installing and testing drain and sewer systems for newly constructed homes. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Installing underground drain and sewer systems for new homes.
• Measuring and maintaining proper pipe grading and layout.
• Assisting with sewer tie-ins and septic connections when applicable.
• Performing drain testing and preparing systems for inspection.
• Reading and interpreting site layouts and plumbing plans.
• Ensuring all installations meet plumbing code requirements.
• Maintaining tools, equipment, and job site cleanliness.

What We’re Looking For

To excel in this role, you should bring the following skills and qualifications to the table:

• 5 years of experience with residential underground drain systems (preferred).
• Strong knowledge of pipe grading and layout principles.
• Ability to read and interpret construction and plumbing plans.
• Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Physical ability to work in demanding environments.
