Are you an enthusiastic Drama teacher looking to join a creative and well-supported department where the performing arts are valued as highly as academic achievement?

This successful and oversubscribed secondary school in North East Hertfordshire is seeking a Drama Teacher to cover a maternity leave from January 2026. The role is for two terms initially, with scope to extend for the right candidate.

The school offers a mature, harmonious environment with a strong focus on student participation and the arts at the heart of school life. The Drama department benefits from a purpose-built performance block with a fully equipped studio, and currently teaches GCSE and A-Level Drama.

There is the possibility of a TLR for an exceptional candidate.

What we're looking for
  • A qualified teacher of Drama (QTS/QTLS)
  • Experience teaching Drama across KS3-KS5
  • Passion for inspiring creativity and performance in young people
  • Strong classroom management and collaborative approach

This role is school-based and temporary (maternity cover), with potential for extension.
