Drapery Technician (Upholstery)

Designation :- Drapery Technician (Upholstery)

Role and Responsibilities :-

• Take precise site measurements for curtains, blinds, and drapery installations.
• Assess window conditions and recommend suitable drapery solutions.
• Handle, cut, and prepare fabrics for drapery production.
• Ensure proper matching of patterns, textures, and finishes.
• Inspect materials for defects before use.
• Sew and assemble drapery panels, linings, pleats, hems, and trims.
• Operate industrial sewing machines and other textile equipment.
• Ensure high-quality craftsmanship and finishing.
• Install tracks, rods, motorized systems, and drapery hardware.
• Hang and fit curtains, blinds, and other window treatments.
• Adjust drapery to ensure proper alignment, movement, and appearance.
• Repair damaged drapery, replace parts, or adjust fittings as needed.
• Provide cleaning, steaming and care instructions to clients.
• Work with designers/clients to translate concepts into finished drapery.
• Stay updated on trends in textiles and drapery hardware.

Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED3,500.00 per month
