Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and motivated Drapery & Window Covering Sales Consultant to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the key driver of sales growth by providing expert guidance on window treatment solutions, building strong customer relationships, and delivering exceptional service. Your enthusiasm for interior design and passion for helping clients transform their spaces will inspire confidence and trust. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct showroom and in-home consultations to assess client needs
• Educate clients on product options, materials, and design applications
• Prepare and present quotes within 24–48 hours
• Close sales and generate accurate agreements
• Enter and manage orders across vendor systems with precision
• Manage projects from quote → order → installation → follow-up
• Maintain consistent client communication to ensure satisfaction
• Build relationships with homeowners, designers, and builders
• Generate new business through networking, referrals, and partnerships
• Lead product demos and training sessions for clients to highlight features, benefits, and installation options.

Qualifications

• 2–3+ years of proven success in window covering and/or drapery sales (required)
• Strong consultative sales skills with closing ability
• Experience with in-home and showroom sales environments
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• High attention to detail in measurements, order entry, and specifications
• Strong time management with ability to handle multiple projects
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook); CRM experience preferred
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Strong communication skills with an energetic attitude that motivates clients and team members alike. Preferred / Bonus Experience

• Experience with Hunter Douglas or similar premium product lines
• Familiarity with motorization and smart home integration
• Background or strong interest in interior design
• Active in local networking or design community (ASID, NKBA, etc.)
• Comfortable using social media for brand visibility and relationship building.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
