Key Responsibilities:

  • Teaching and Instruction:
  • Plan and deliver age-appropriate drawing lessons to students.
  • Teach various drawing techniques such as sketching, shading, perspective, and color theory.
  • Integrate traditional and digital drawing tools into lessons where applicable.
  • Curriculum Development:
  • Develop and implement a structured drawing curriculum that aligns with educational standards.
  • Incorporate innovative teaching methods and projects to enhance student engagement.
  • Adapt lessons to meet the needs and skill levels of individual students.
  • Student Development:
  • Encourage creativity, self-expression, and critical thinking through drawing.
  • Provide constructive feedback to students on their artwork and progress.
  • Prepare students for art competitions, exhibitions, and other creative opportunities.
  • Classroom Management:
  • Maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Ensure that students follow safety and cleanliness guidelines when using art supplies.
  • Manage classroom behavior and foster respect for artistic expression.
  • Administrative Duties:
  • Maintain records of student progress and attendance.
  • Prepare and distribute art materials and supplies as needed.
  • Participate in staff meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and school events.
  • Collaboration:
  • Collaborate with colleagues on interdisciplinary projects and school-wide events.
  • Organize and participate in art exhibitions and showcases to display student work.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts, Art Education, or a related field.
  • Teaching certification (preferred but not mandatory, depending on the institution).
  • Proven experience as an art or drawing teacher, with a strong portfolio of personal and/or student work.
  • Proficiency in various art mediums and drawing techniques.
  • Knowledge of art history and contemporary art trends is a plus.

Skills and Attributes:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students of all skill levels.
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Patience, creativity, and a passion for teaching art.
  • Familiarity with digital drawing tools or software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or Procreate) is a bonus.

Work Environment:

  • Classroom-based teaching with occasional outdoor or field activities.
  • Participation in art fairs, exhibitions, and competitions.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month

Education:

  • Bachelor's (Preferred)

Experience:

  • Teaching: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Making lesson plans: 1 year (Preferred)
