Drayage Dispatch Manager

We are seeking an experienced Dispatcher with a strong background in the drayage industry. This role focuses on the managing of daily driver dispatch. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of managing complex transportation operations to ensure the timely and efficient movement of import/export containers. This role requires excellent communication skills, strong problem-solving abilities, the capacity to multitask, and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset.

Duties and Responsibilities (Include but are not limited to)

• Schedule appointments with marine terminals for container pickups

• Coordinate delivery appointments and follow-ups with customers

• Assign deliveries to drivers based on availability and operational priorities

• Monitor and track drivers in real time to ensure on-time pickups and deliveries

• Provide exceptional customer service via phone and email to clients and internal operations teams

• Track equipment and update statuses within the company?s custom portal

• Track and trace container shipments through terminal portals

• Perform general office duties and other tasks as assigned
