Dredge Deckhand

CP Marine Services is seeking hard-working Dredge Hands to join our growing operations. This is a hands-on, physically demanding position working aboard our dredge. We’re looking for individuals who are dependable, motivated, and ready to work.

Position Details

• Start Date: 2–3 Weeks
• Schedule: Monday – Friday (Staying aboard dredge required during work week)
• Travel Required: Yes — lodging provided on dredge for most active jobs
• Location: Southeast Louisiana & Surrounding Gulf Coast Regions
• Daily Rate of $150-$180 depending on experience and performance

Job Responsibilities

• Assist with dredging operations
• General deckhand duties
• Handling lines, hoses, and equipment
• Cleaning and maintaining dredge and support equipment
• Assisting operators and supervisors as needed
• Working outdoors in all weather conditions
• Must be hard-working and dependable
• Must be comfortable working a physically demanding job
• Must be willing to travel and stay on dredge Monday–Friday
• Must have thick skin and strong work ethic — this is a tough work environment
• Must pass pre-employment drug screening
• Must have valid TWIC card
• Must have applicable deckhand/dredge hand experience
• Marine or construction experience preferred
• Must be able to follow directions and work as part of a teamWhat We’re Looking For
