Drilling Rig Foreman

Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Drilling Rig Foreman to oversee drilling operations on our rig. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating and supervising drilling activities to ensure efficiency and compliance with safety regulations.

Job Responsibility:
1. Oversee drilling operations on the rig and ensure all activities are carried out efficiently.
2. Supervise drilling crew and provide guidance and support as needed.
3. Monitor rig equipment and ensure proper maintenance and repairs are conducted.
4. Enforce safety procedures and regulations to prevent accidents and injuries.
5. Collaborate with engineers and other team members to optimize drilling processes.
6. Keep detailed records of drilling activities, including production rates and equipment usage.
7. Identify any issues or potential problems and propose solutions to enhance drilling operations.

Candidate Requirements:
1. Proven experience as a Drilling Rig Foreman or similar role in the oil and gas industry.
2. In-depth knowledge of drilling operations, equipment, and safety procedures.
3. Strong leadership and communication skills to effectively manage a drilling crew.
4. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make quick decisions under pressure.
5. Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
6. Relevant certifications or licenses may be required.

A) Thirteen (13) years relevant experience in drilling and workover operations including supervisory experience generally acquired by progression on a drilling or workover rig.

B) B.S. degree in Engineering with Seven (7) years of experience working in drilling and workover operations including adequate supervisory experience on a drilling or workover rig.
C) Willing to live in remote areas in mobile camps.
