Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Driveline Welder to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating, welding, and assembling driveline components for UTVs and off-road vehicles. Your expertise in various welding techniques and mechanical fabrication will ensure our products meet the highest standards of quality, durability, and performance.
Duties
- Perform MIG, TIG, FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding), and <LOCATION> welding on driveline parts using blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
- Read and interpret detailed schematics, blueprints, and technical specifications to guide fabrication processes
- Use hand tools, power tools, plasma cutters, press brake machines, and machining equipment to shape and assemble components
- Measure parts accurately with calipers, micrometers, and other precision tools to ensure proper fitment
- Conduct pipe threading, ductwork fabrication, and assembly of mechanical components following ASME codes & standards
- Operate forklifts, rigging equipment, and other machinery safely during fabrication and assembly tasks
- Maintain a clean work environment while adhering to safety protocols at all times
Skills
- Proven construction site experience with a strong understanding of fabrication environments
- Skilled in MIG welding, TIG welding, FCAW welding, <LOCATION> welding, and plasma cutting techniques
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and mechanical drawings accurately
- Proficient with hand tools, power tools, calipers, micrometers, soldering tools, and press brake machines
- Knowledge of blueprint reading for sheet metal fabrication and assembly processes
- Mechanical knowledge related to driveline components such as carrier bearings and axles
- Experience with rigging procedures for component installation or movement within manufacturing settings
- Familiarity with ASME codes & standards applicable to metal fabrication and welding practices
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations during assembly processes
- Ability to operate forklifts safely; certification preferred but not required
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes including pipe threading, machining, soldering, and schematics interpretation
