Job Summary

A Driver is responsible for operating vehicles to transport passengers or goods safely and efficiently, adhering to traffic laws and company policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Safe Operation: Drive vehicles in compliance with traffic laws and safety regulations.
• Route Planning: Determine the most efficient routes to destinations, considering traffic conditions.
• Vehicle Maintenance: Perform regular inspections and basic maintenance on vehicles.
• Customer Service: Provide courteous and professional service to passengers or clients.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of trips, mileage, fuel consumption, and maintenance.
• Loading/Unloading: Assist with loading and unloading goods or luggage as needed.
• Emergency Handling: Respond appropriately to accidents or emergencies.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license appropriate for the vehicle type.
• Clean driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of local traffic laws and routes.
• Ability to lift heavy packages or assist passengers.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
