Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and professional Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting goods and materials to various locations, ensuring timely deliveries, and providing excellent customer service. This role requires a strong ofocus on safety, efficiency, and maintaining a positive interaction with clients. The Driver position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with diverse responsibilities, including warehouse support and route driving.

Duties

• Safely operate box trucks and commercial vehicles, including manual transmission models, to deliver products across designated routes
• Load and unload cargo using forklifts, pallet jacks, or manual handling techniques, ensuring proper safety procedures are followed
• Plan and follow efficient delivery routes to meet schedule deadlines
• Provide exceptional customer service by interacting professionally with clients during deliveries
• Assist with warehouse tasks such as moving inventory and organizing shipments
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform routine inspections to ensure safety standards are met
• Comply with all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies during driving activities
• Document delivery details accurately and report any issues or delays promptly

Skills

• Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier, preferably with route driving experience in a warehouse environment
• Strong knowledge of driving regulations and safe driving practices for commercial vehicles including box trucks and <PERSON> driver licenses
• Ability to handle heavy lifting and physical tasks associated with loading/unloading cargo
• Familiarity with warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks is a plus
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally
• Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles confidently
• Good organizational skills for route planning and time management
• Physical stamina to perform moving tasks and long periods of driving or standing during shifts

Pay: $20.00 - $27.01 per hour
