Position Overview

We are seeking a reliable, safety-focused Delivery Driver to transport and deliver imported marble slabs, tiles, and related materials to job sites, warehouses, and client locations. This role is critical to ensuring that premium stone products arrive in perfect condition, on time, and with professional service.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely load, secure, transport, and unload imported marble and stone materials using company vehicles.
• Operate trucks, lifts, dollies, A-frames, and other equipment required for moving heavy/fragile stone.
• Inspect and maintain vehicles daily reporting mechanical issues or safety concerns promptly.
• Review delivery schedules, verify orders, and ensure accuracy of materials loaded and delivered.
• Communicate effectively with warehouse teams, project managers, and clients regarding delivery status.
• Maintain detailed delivery logs, paperwork, and electronic records.
• Follow all DOT regulations, company safety protocols, and handling procedures for fragile materials.
• Provide professional, courteous customer service at every delivery location.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license, (CDL preferred but not required depending on fleet).
• Clean driving record with a strong safety history.
• Experience driving delivery trucks or flatbeds; prior experience handling stone, tile, or heavy materials preferred.
• Ability to lift, maneuver, and secure heavy materials (up to [insert lbs]) with proper equipment.
• Familiarity with GPS, route planning, and mobile delivery applications.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering materials without damage.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in construction, stone fabrication, flooring, or related industry.
• Forklift certification or ability to obtain one.
• Knowledge of proper handling techniques for marble and natural stone.
