Driver

Job Brief:

We are looking for a part time Driver to transport/commute contractors back and forth from Hampton Roads to Richmond in a comfortable, safe and timely manner from a specified pick up and drop off location 6-8 days a month or negotiated shift volume (which will affect pay rate). Driver will be driving a mobile office vehicle provided by the company that is picked up before each shift and dropped off afterwards.

Responsibilities:

- Work with Lead Driver to arrange regular cleaning and maintenance services for the vehicle provided by the company. (Vehicle remains at storage facility when not in use).

- Planning each route based on road and traffic conditions.

- Assure that contractor being transported is at the facility in Richmond by 7:00 am (or time arranged for that particular contractor).

- Assure that you are available to bring contractor home at the agreed upon time discussed. (Driver should be able to be back to the Southside vehicle drop off location by approximately 6 pm).

- Ensure the car seats are clean and comfortable for all contracted riders.

- Ensure vehicle is fueled for each ride appropriately (fuel card picked provided by company).

Experience:
- Two (2) years of proven driving experience preferred.

- A valid driver's license and excellent driving record

- Experience with route driving and courier services is preferred.

- Familiarity with GPS devices

- Excellent time management skills

- Polite and professional disposition

- Ability to remain calm in stressful conditions (e.g. during rush hour traffic)

- Avoidance of personal phone calls during driving periods

Pay: $180.00 - $210.00 per day
