Driver

We are seeking a reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious Light Vehicle Driver with a valid manual driving license. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of goods, materials, and company personnel. This role requires exceptional knowledge of local routes, traffic laws, and basic vehicle maintenance to ensure smooth, everyday logistics and operational support.

Core Responsibilities

• Safe Transportation: Safely operate company manual transmission vehicles (such as 3-ton pickups, vans, or passenger light vehicles) to transport goods, deliveries, and staff.
• Delivery & Logistics: Assist in the efficient loading, securing, and unloading of materials, ensuring items are delivered intact and on schedule.
• Route Navigation: Optimize delivery times by utilizing GPS/navigation applications and relying on strong local road and route knowledge.
• Compliance: Adhere strictly to all local traffic laws, speed limits, transport regulations, and site-specific safety directives.
• Vehicle Maintenance: Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections (checking oil levels, tires, brakes, and lights). Ensure the vehicle remains clean, organized, and properly serviced by coordinating routine maintenance appointments.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate daily vehicle logbooks, trip sheets, delivery invoices, and fuel receipts, reporting any mechanical issues or discrepancies immediately to management.

Job Requirements & Qualifications

• License: A valid, clean manual transmission light vehicle driving license (Category No. 3 or equivalent) is mandatory.
• Experience: Minimum 2 to 3 years of proven professional driving experience operating manual vehicles, preferably within logistics, manufacturing, or commercial distribution.
• Skills:
• Strong familiarity with local city roads, highways, and commercial zones.
• Familiarity with digital maps and smartphone navigation tools.
• Basic mechanical troubleshooting knowledge for emergency/preventative maintenance.
• Physical Demands: Physically fit and capable of handling manual work, including regular loading, unloading, and lifting of goods.
• Interpersonal Attributes: Punctual, responsible, polite demeanor, and capable of working calmly under tight delivery schedules.

Preferred Indicators of Success

• A spotless driving record with zero major traffic violations or black points.
• Basic spoken and written English proficiency to communicate clearly with warehouse teams, supervisors, or clients.
• Immediate availability to join the organization.

Pay: AED1,800.00 - AED2,000.00 per month
