Driver and mover- Interior Design Furniture Delivery and Install

Monday through Friday; 7:00AM to 3:00PM.

We do interior design furniture installations. Currently, we are hiring a driver. The position delivers several rooms of furniture into an empty home including rugs, furniture, art, etc.

South Cobb Dr. location, we deliver into client's personal homes; applicants must hold a professional and approachable attitude. Some experience in mounting/hanging art, mirrors, or curtains is helpful.

We start our day at the warehouse and make residential deliveries of home furnishings. Located in the Smyrna, GA area. The delivery team will focus on only one or two stops in a work day then return to the warehouse. You must be able to drive an Isuzu box truck, hold a valid Georgia license with a clean 3 year motor vehicle record.

Responsibilities

• Safely driving a box truck is required
• Experience in residential furniture delivery is helpful
• Safely load and unload truck's contents in various situations and weather
• Work well with designers and helpers in load processes
• Avoid damage with customers homes
• Knowledge of safe loading techniques, rules, and regulations.
• Comply with company policies and procedures
• Communicate well with clients, hold a pleasant attitude, hospitality background is helpful
• Report incidents, accidents or violations

Skills

• Verifiable box truck driver experience
• Experience in some hanging/mounting of art, curtains, mirrors.
• Furniture Assembly
• Proven work experience in warehousing, delivery, or customer service
• Must be physically capable of loading, lifting, and carrying furniture
• Ability to consistently arrive as scheduled to warehouse in Smyrna, GA area

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 per hour
