Job Overview
Elevator Company in Signal Hill, CA is seeking a Warehouse Associate and Driver

Full Time position Shifts change daily, starting time between - 5am and 8am, with a one hour lunch.

We are looking for a dedicated Warehouse team member who would be assisting with maintaining the warehouse and making deliveries in 22 foot stake bed. You will also play a pivotal role to the operations day-to-day by delivering parts, materials, and tools to job sites and perform the essential functions listed below:

Essential Functions:

• Inspect, label and record incoming shipments of parts, equipment, and tools by hand or on the computer to maintain inventory records.
• Sort materials, using fork lift if necessary, to place on pallets, racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence or product code number. You help own the organizational piece of the warehouse!
• Prepare requests for parts, equipment and tools via requisition forms or phone.
• Complete requested orders and record outgoing materials.
• Organize the warehouse and help keep it clean.
• Load orders into truck via fork lift or hand.
• Transport and deliver goods to and from the designated job site.
• Deliver materials to job site.

Additional Responsibilities:

1. Cleans warehouse and equipment.
2. Responsible for inventory checks every six months.
3. Troubleshoot parts delivery issues (change location, missing shipments, etc.)
4. Adjustments to inventory stock

Education:

High school diploma

Experience:

1+ experience in a warehouse environment and/or as a truck driver.

Skill Requirements:

Must have a valid CA driver’s license and a clean driving record.
Forklift certification is a plus but not required.
Must be able to lift 50 to 75 lbs.
Ability to handle physical workload.

Must be able to pass background check and a drug test including marijuana.

Pay Rate: Based on Experience.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00 - $22.00 per hour
