Driver Box Truck 26' / Fork Lift Operator

Experience required with a valid drivers license, an excellent driving record, a current DOT Medical Certificate and Safety certification. Seeking self driven and motivated individual to work part time or full time driving a 26' box truck for making dock-to-dock deliveries of manufacturing materials. Smart phone is required for making proof of deliveries using an app and camera to ensure accuracy of deliveries for our customer. The qualified applicant will also be operating a fork lift for safe pallet movement, loading and unloading trucks of heavy yet delicate material. We have an opening and are searching for a positive, pleasant individual to work along side us.

This Job Is: Monday to Friday working at our warehouse on eastside of Des Moines and servicing one of our customers in Newton.

Summary

As a Driver Box Truck 26' / Fork Lift Operator, you will be responsible for safe, efficient delivery and handling of goods and materials. reporting to the Logistics Supervisor, you will leverage your delivery driving and forklift skills to load, unload, and transport cargo while maintaining accurate delivery records. Your strong customer service, warehouse experience, and adherence to safety practices will ensure on-time deliveries and smooth operations in a fast-paced environment. This role blends driving, material handling, and package delivery to support our distribution goals.

Responsibilities

• Operate 26' box truck for on-time delivery routes, including loading and unloading of pallets.

• Use forklift and material handling equipment to move, organize, and secure packages in warehouse and on delivery vehicle.

• Safely lift heavy items, perform manual handling, and ensure proper load balance and route compliance.

• Maintain delivery records, conduct basic vehicle inspections, and report any issues or delays to supervision.

• Provide courteous customer service during deliveries and adhere to all safety and traffic regulations.

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
