Driver (Car Rental) – Job Description

Location: Dubai / UAE

Reports To: Branch Manager / Operations Supervisor

Job Summary

We are looking for a reliable and professional Driver with car rental experience in the UAE to support daily rental operations. The candidate will be responsible for vehicle delivery and collection, customer service, vehicle inspections, documentation handling, and ensuring all company vehicles are maintained in excellent condition.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver and collect rental vehicles from customers, hotels, airports, offices, and residences across the UAE.
• Conduct vehicle inspections before delivery and upon return.
• Prepare and complete vehicle checklists, fuel reports, and damage reports.
• Ensure vehicles are clean, fueled, and ready for rental.
• Assist customers with vehicle handover procedures and basic vehicle features.
• Obtain customer signatures on rental agreements, delivery notes, and inspection reports.
• Report accidents, damages, traffic fines, Salik charges, or maintenance issues immediately to management.
• Coordinate with the operations and fleet team regarding vehicle movement and scheduling.
• Maintain professional appearance and excellent customer service standards.
• Follow all UAE traffic laws and company policies.
• Support branch operations during busy periods, including vehicle transfers between branches and workshops.
• Keep accurate records of deliveries, collections, mileage, and fuel levels.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of driving experience in the UAE, preferably in the car rental industry.
• Valid UAE driving license.
• Good knowledge of UAE roads, locations, and traffic regulations.
• Familiarity with airport deliveries, hotel deliveries, and customer handovers.
• Basic knowledge of vehicle inspection and reporting procedures.
• Ability to use mobile applications, GPS, and digital inspection systems.
• Good communication skills in English; Arabic or additional languages are an advantage.
• Flexible with working hours, weekends, and shift duties.
• Professional attitude and customer-focused approach.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with rental management platforms such as TARS.
• Experience handling luxury, SUV, and premium vehicles.
• Knowledge of UAE traffic fines, Salik system, and RTA procedures.

Working Conditions

• Outdoor and field-based work.
• May require long driving hours and inter-emirate travel.
• Rotational shifts, including weekends and holidays if required.
