Driver – Client Transportation

Schedule:

• Monday – Wednesday: 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM

• Thursday & Friday: OFF

• Saturday & Sunday: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM

About the Role

Pyramid Healthcare is seeking dependable, compassionate, and professional Drivers to join our team in Gastonia, NC. In this role, you will provide safe and supportive transportation services for clients in early substance abuse recovery, helping them access treatment, appointments, and other essential services throughout the region.

This position plays an important role in supporting our behavioral health and recovery programs across North Carolina. Drivers are provided with a company vehicle and fuel card, so no personal vehicle use is required.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely transport clients to and from designated regional locations

• Supervise and support clients during transportation

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services provided

• Respond appropriately and calmly in emergency situations

• Work independently with minimal supervision

• Assist with lifting up to 50 lbs. when necessary

• Complete additional duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred, but not required

• Previous transportation experience preferred, but not required

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record required

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and ethical decision-making

• Excellent time management, organization, and problem-solving skills

• Ability to remain calm in fast-paced or crisis situations

• Flexible, dependable, and team-oriented mindset
