Driver/ Client Transporter FT Evenings

We offer behavioral healthcare services – psychiatry, addiction recovery, mental disorder treatment, etc. – that allow clients at all stages of recovery or rehabilitation to reclaim health and well-being.

• Preferred high school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Prior experience in a hospital or behavioral healthcare environment, patient care, and/or transportation is a plus.

• Active valid driver's license.
• CPR course required within 30 days of hire.
• Completion of various safety training upon hire.

• Transport patients to and from behavioral healthcare services.
• Maintain a safe environment for patients, self, and coworkers.
• Communicate with the team, coworkers, and patients in a positive and professional manner.
• Take initiative to deliver the best customer service, even during times of stress.
• Knowledgeable of all aspects and functionalities of the client transportation system.
• Provide appropriate safety oversight and monitoring for all clients while in transport.

• Good communication skills to interact with all patients and staff.
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
• Requires frequent extended transports; must be able to sit for long periods.
• Excellent customer service skills.

• Contact with patients under a wide variety of circumstances.
• Possible exposure to patient elements.
• Handles emergency or crisis situations.
• Subject to many interruptions and pressure from multiple calls and inquiries.
• Occasionally subject to irregular hours; handles absentee replacements on short notice.
• Personal protective equipment (masks) is required when transporting patients.
