Driver (Commercial License)

Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and responsible Driver with a valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) and Passenger Endorsement to join our team. In this vital role, you will operate various types of vehicles to transport Participants safely to and from our onsite day program. Your expertise in commercial driving, route management, customer service, and vehicle operation will help support our mission to deliver exceptional service while maintaining the highest safety standards to those we support.

Schedule: Split Shift

Monday-Friday 6am-10am AND 1:30pm-5:30pm

Duties

• Safely operate small buses and/or vans to provide transportation for our Participants
• Assist individuals on and off the vehicle
• Conduct pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections of vehicles to verify safety compliance and identify maintenance needs
• Follow planned routes efficiently while adhering to traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies
• Document delivery details accurately through logs and electronic reporting systems
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and team members regarding schedules or any issues encountered during routes
• Maintain cleanliness and general upkeep of assigned vehicles to ensure optimal operation

Qualifications

• Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a passenger endorsement
• Experience transporting individuals safely to their destinations (experience working with individuals with disabilities is highly preferred)
• Clean Driving Record (no more than 1 point)
• Must be able to pass pre-employment drug test and Physical
