Driver / Community Support Assistant

Job Overview
Lineage Care is seeking reliable and compassionate drivers to assist individuals with disabilities by transporting them to medical appointments, community activities, and grocery shopping. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys helping others stay connected with their community.

Duties

• Safely transport clients to and from:

• Medical appointments
• Community outings and recreational activities
• Grocery shopping and errands

• Provide light assistance when needed (entering stores, carrying groceries, etc.)
• Maintain a safe, respectful, and supportive environment for clients
• Ensure punctual pick-ups and drop-offs
• Maintain communication with the Lineage Care team regarding schedules and client needs

• Requirements

• Proven experience in commercial driving, delivery roles with a strong safety record.
• Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with community members and team members alike.
• Valid driver’s license / clean driving record
• Pass soft background check
• Strong organizational skills for route planning and adherence to schedules; familiarity with route driving protocols is desirable.
