Driver - Crew Lead

Non-CDL Driver / Crew Leads Wanted - $22 - $25/hr. (based on experience) + tips - Paid Weekly - Start IMMEDIATELY!

Corrigan Moving Systems is looking for is looking for physically fit, responsible Non-CDL Driver/Crew Leads to work at our Dearborn, MI location.

Currently, we have full-time hours available -this is based on business need. Corrigan operates: Monday - Saturday starting between 6:30 am - 7:30 am and the day ends when the work for the day is completed.

As a Driver/Crew Lead you will use a 26 ft. straight truck to load, transport and deliver household or commercial goods. You will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating all on-site moving operations, ensuring customer satisfaction and leading a team of Mover - Helpers. This is a hands-on leadership role that requires both physical work and management skills.

Qualifications for Driver/Crew Lead:

• Prior moving company experience is preferred, but not necessary
• Experience supervising/leading a crew is preferred, but not necessary
• Must pass a DOT medical physical.
• Must successfully complete a BG check and pre-employment drug test.
• Must be 21+ years and possess a valid chauffeurs license.
• Commercial Driving experience preferred.
• Capable of lifting 50 lbs. repeatedly, and on a regular basis.
• Must successfully pass criminal background check

Duties and Responsibilities for Driver/Crew Lead:

• Actively participate in the physical aspects of the move, including safely packing, wrapping, loading, unloading, disassembling, and reassembling furniture.
• Leading, and motivating the moving crew, assigning tasks efficiently, and ensuring all company standards and safety protocols are followed.
• Planning the most efficient way to pack and load items into the truck, managing inventory and supplies, and optimizing routes to the destination.
• Safely operating company vehicles, performing daily inspections, and ensuring the secure transport of all belongings.
• Serving as the primary point of contact for the client, conducting initial and final walk-throughs, addressing concerns, and ensuring a positive moving experience.
• Completing necessary job logs, timekeeping records, inventory lists, and documenting any damages or incidents to management.
